Simply amazing!!! We had the best hike ever at Devil’s garden!! Be cautious though since wind is super strong and you can misa your steps when walking in the marrow sand dunes.
Good value and lots of different trails! We had a good day here. The entry fee allows you to stay as long as you like. If you exit for the toilets or cafe just get your chip card revalidated (make sure you keep the paper receipt). We had a prearranged guide, Samuel, who was excellent, and showed us things we would never otherwise have seen....you need a trained eye. He also has a scope through which he helps you take great photos. Just contact him through searching Monteverde nature guided tours on tripadvisor, The cafe serves great coffee and snacks and you sit and watch hummingbirds close up while you drink. The trails are extensive. There is a bus about every 3 hours from Santa Elena but we walked back which took about an hour. Highly recommend.
